The so-called January blues aren’t just a grab-by-the-collar phrase. Many of us experience low mood, lethargy and lack of motivation during winter months, and the post-festive slump doesn’t help.

That’s why now is the perfect time to really take care of your body, mind and soul, introduce practical ways to reset routines, lift energy levels and feel a bit more balanced.

Across London, there’s a wave of new wellness events, menus and experiences launching specifically at this point in the year – some short-term, others running well beyond January. Below is a round-up of what’s happening now, spanning food, drink and bookable experiences across the city.

1. Nourished by Los Mochis

From the 12th to the 31st of January, the Mexican-Japanese restaurant Los Mochis is running Nourished by Los Mochis, a limited-time menu created in collaboration with food writer, cookbook author and fellow The Felix Project ambassador, Melissa Hemsley.

The January edit pulls from the restaurant’s existing menu, keeping the Japanese-Mexican cuisine intact while placing a little more emphasis on balance and nutrition.

Dishes on the menu include Beetroot Tiradito, Pollo Ensalada, Carne Asada Tacos and Chipotle Miso Soup. The focus is on ingredients already used across the kitchen but also foods that are commonly linked to gut health, immunity and inflammation support.

The collaboration also introduces a new non-alcoholic drink – the Pomegranate and Hibiscus Refresher, which combines pomegranate, Mexican hibiscus, lime, coconut water and sea salt – limited to this month only. The curated menu is available across Los Mochis’ two sites – London City and Notting Hill.

On the 24th and 31st January, you can also get a IV vitamin infusion at the Los Mochis London City restaurant, thanks to its partnership with wellness clinic Body Brilliant.

2. Functional Feels™ at The Marylebone

This January, The Cocktail Bar at The Marylebone launched Functional Feels™, a permanent non-alcoholic cocktail menu centred around functional mushroom extracts, and created in partnership with London-based brand The Well Being Nootropics.

The alcohol-free drinks use extracts of mushrooms such as Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps and Chaga, which are often associated with focus, calm, steadier energy and mental clarity. These are then balanced with spirits-style ingredients, syrups and fresh elements so they behave like full-flavoured cocktails.

There are four drinks on the menu, each priced at £12:

  • Diamond Mind combines Lion’s Mane with tart cherry, aged balsamic and vanilla.
  • Tigger mixes Cordyceps, Chaga and Shiitake with golden milk syrup and coconut water.
  • Equanimity pairs Reishi with house-smoked flow tea syrup and orange, served short over ice.
  • Emerald Meadow brings together Lion’s Mane and ceremonial matcha with plum, pink peppercorn and Thai basil.

Functional Feels™ is available now during normal opening hours at The Cocktail Bar, The Marylebone.

3. UKLASH Self Growth Studio

UKLASH, the beauty brand best known for its lash growth serums, is hosting its largest consumer pop-up to date, running in Shoreditch from the 30th of January to the 1st of February. The three-day event brings together hair health, movement, and mindset, with a mix of bookable sessions and free entry for anyone who wants to browse or shop.

Events include one-to-one scalp analysis sessions with certified trichologists using scalp scanning technology, yoga and pilates classes, as well as guided manifestation workshops focused on reflection and goal-setting.

Sessions cost £10, but this value is fully redeemable against any UKLASH Hair Growth product. Entry to the pop-up itself is free, with visitors able to browse the full range, shop discounted products, and take part in prize giveaways throughout the event. The pop-up runs daily from 9am to 5pm at 150 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JE.

4. The Breathpod at FRAMELESS

From the 12th of January until the 12th of February 2026, FRAMELESS , the immersive art space at Marble Arch, is running an exclusive The Breathpod experience. This experience takes place inside its Blank Canvas Gallery and blends guided breathwork prompts with large-scale digital visuals and a soundscape designed by breathing expert Stuart Sandeman alongside artist THEAJM and producer Nuage.

Visitors progress through the gallery space at their own pace, following on-screen and audio cues focused on breath rather than physical instruction; participation is optional and the experience is continuous rather than strictly timed.

The experience is included as part of the standard FRAMELESS ticket – there is no separate Breathpod ticket, and entry to the breathwork experience is accessed through the main immersive art visit. FRAMELESS tickets are available from around £32 for adults, with lower rates for children, though prices vary by date and booking platform, and advance purchase is recommended.

5. Wild Nutrition at Liberty

From the 8th of January to the 8th of February, Wild Nutrition, the UK-based nutrition brand specialising in food-grown supplements, is taking over Liberty London’s atrium with a wellness residency. The programme includes free one-to-one consultations with nutritional therapists, breakfast talks focused on topics such as brain health and immunity, and a schedule of live performances and spoken-word events.

The takeover is designed to be drop-in friendly, with many elements open to the public without the need for advance booking. The last in-person activation is a Pop-Up Poet Session on Friday, the 24th of January. Running from 2pm–5pm, it will allow visitors to receive a bespoke poem created on the spot (advance booking is required for this one). All in-person nutritional consultations are now fully booked, although online consultations remain available separately.

6. Yoga in the Painted Hall – Old Royal Naval College

Yoga in the Painted Hall is a recurring monthly yoga series, not a one-off event, held at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. Sessions take place on the last Friday of each month, with upcoming dates including Friday 23 January, Friday 20 February and Friday 27 March. Each class runs from 8:00am to 8:45am.

The sessions are led by instructors from Kindred Yoga Studio and follow a Vinyasa flow format, open to all levels, with no prior yoga experience required. Classes are held beneath the Painted Hall’s historic ceiling and take place outside standard visiting hours.

Tickets are booked in advance through the Old Royal Naval College ticketing system and are priced as a £5 donation per session. Mats are not provided, and attendees are required to bring their own.

7. Equanimity Festival – King’s Cross

Equanimity Festival runs across King’s Cross from early January until the end of March 2026, transforming part of the neighbourhood into a multi-month wellness programme with a mixture of drop-in and bookable experiences.

The central feature of the festival is the Slomo pop-up in Lewis Cubitt Square, running from 15 January to 22 February. This consists of wood-fired saunas alongside cold plunge pools (at multiple temperatures) and a shared ice bath – elements that make up a contrast therapy experience. Sauna sessions are typically around 50 minutes long and can be booked in advance, with tickets generally priced from around £12 per person for the core sauna and plunge experience.

Beyond Slomo, the Equanimity Festival programme includes workshops and classes such as yoga, breathwork, sound baths and Reset Retreats, often hosted inside or around the Slomo tipi. Prices for these sessions vary by format, with sauna-focused experiences around £12 and workshop-style activities (like breathwork or yoga) typically costing around £14 or more, depending on length and content. Booking is required for all structured sessions, and spaces are limited due to capacity.
