Against the usual post-December slump, Hawksmoor is doubling down on the things it does best – decadent steak and deftly-made martinis – with prices that don’t feel punitive. This month, you can still score yourself a fancy lunch on an otherwise uneventful Tuesday. Available throughout January, the Steak & Sides menu is back following serious demand last year (more than 30,000 diners, which says enough).

For £19 in London and Manchester, and £16 in Edinburgh and Liverpool, you can get a 35-day dry-aged British rump steak, alongside a side of your choice – from beef-dripping chips to sweet potato or salads, depending on location.

Dry (Martini) January is also in full swing, for the lucky ones who swiftly managed to pack all their meetings into the morning and can enjoy the privilege of a longer lunch break. The Martini Bar will be serving £10 martinis all day, every day, with three classics on offer: the Steakhouse Martini, a Dry Gin Martini, and a Vodka Martini.

And for those who like to maximise a good thing, BYO Mondays are still very much in play. Bring any bottle of wine for £5 corkage, pair it with Steak & Sides, and, suddenly, January isn’t looking so grim after all.

What else is on the menu?

Beyond the new lunch menu, Hawksmoor St. Pancras runs its full à la carte, with starters like charcoal-roasted scallops (£21), oysters (from £12 to £51), smoked salmon (£16), bone marrow (£12), and potted beef & bacon Yorkshire puddings (£12).

For mains, you’ve got an assortment of charcoal-grilled British beef steaks, including Chateaubriand, prime rib, rib-eye and sirloin. Seafood shows up properly too – oysters, lobster, and grilled fish – plus a few other lavish mains, including the vegetarian token – an imposing Winslade Wellington.

For pudding, you’ve got the trusty sticky toffee pudding (£10), a cozy walnut and pear mille-feuille (£9), and the show-stopping “Grand Rocher” (£9.50), with chocolate mousse, hazelnut ice cream, and ganache in a chocolate bowl, topped with gold leaf and drizzled with chocolate sauce.

You won’t be leaving bone-dry, either. There’s a lengthy wine and cocktails list, featuring Hawksmoor favourites like their Sacred Six (which include a Sour Cherry Negroni (£14.50), Full Fat Old Fashioned (£16), and Lychee Martini (£14). Evidently, martinis are the star of the show, and options include the Vesper’s Vesper, Pink Gibson, and The Ultimate Martini.

About Hawksmoor St Pancras

Hawksmoor St Pancras is a Hawksmoor Group steakhouse located inside St Pancras International, set within the former Midland Grand Dining Room of the Grade I-listed St Pancras hotel. It is a large, high-ceilinged space defined by Victorian Gothic architecture, including ornate arches and decorative detailing. The restaurant specialises in British beef and classic steakhouse dishes, and the interior design balances the scale and grandeur of the historic setting with darker tones, leather seating, marble and wood finishes.

The venue also includes a separate Martini Bar, which offers a more contained and intimate setting within the same building. Designed as a classic cocktail bar, it focuses on martinis and serves as a space for pre- or post-dinner drinks.

Key details

The Steak & Fries offer runs from 1–31 January 2026, with availability varying by restaurant. Dry Martini January is exclusive to the Martini Bar at Hawksmoor St. Pancras (open daily, 11am–11pm).
