July arrives with London’s biggest hospitality groups all making their move at once. Little Door & Co, Mr Fogg’s and Coppa Club are each opening their largest sites to date, Pachamama Group is bringing a restaurant back from Abu Dhabi, and a fresh wave of independents – a British-focused handroll bar, an Istanbul coffee import, an Australian deli – are staking their claim across the city too. Whether you’re after a proper sit-down dinner or something to fill a summer evening, here’s where to go this month.

We’ll keep updating this list as more details land, so check back in as the month goes on.

Little Neon Door – Shoreditch

Knock knock, Little Door & Co are opening their sixth site this summer, and it’s the biggest yet. The Little Neon Door takes over two floors on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, following the group’s five existing venues in Notting Hill, Fulham, Clapham, Soho and Carnaby. Each site is designed around a fictional shared flat, with rooms built for different kinds of nights out.

In Little Neon Door, downstairs holds the Sitting Room, Living Room and Kitchen, where DJs play from Wednesday to Saturday, plus a Laundry Room and Bathroom fitted with karaoke machines. Upstairs, the mezzanine houses a Games Room with table football, ping pong and a big-screen N64, alongside a Dressing Room stocked with a fancy dress cupboard. Drinks are themed around films and served in objects like disco balls and trophies, alongside pizzas, bar snacks and weekend brunch.

Go Greek Yogurt – South Molton Street

The LA cult yogurt brand that had New Yorkers queuing round the block this spring is now bringing its highly popular frozen yogurt to Mayfair. Go Greek Yogurt opens its first UK site on South Molton Street on 11 July, and the space alone is worth the trip – blue-and-white Mediterranean tiling, warm wood, a made-to-order yogurt bar up front, a full wall of self-serve frozen yogurt machines at the back, and outdoor seating.

The savoury bowls here are the real hook: Aceso and a Greek Salad bowl loaded with avocado, Persian cucumber, Serrano chilli and Kalamata olives, pilled onto thick Greek yogurt. If you’re after something sweet, Althea, Energia and Proteini bring fruit, granola, toasted coconut, chocolate shavings and a proper drizzle of Greek honey. Then there’s the main event – a build-your-own frozen yogurt bar with three house flavours, a rotating seasonal line-up (banana, strawberry and a vegan coffee mocha through July), and more than 30 toppings to go full sundae with. Oh and there are smoothies too, including a chocolate espresso version.

To celebrate the long-awaited opening, the first 100 customers each day on 11 and 12 July get free frozen yogurt, toppings included.

Miokuru – Soho

London’s handroll boom shows no sign of slowing, with Kumori, Temaki, Maki Nori and Saltwater all landing within months of each other. Miokuru is the latest into that crowded field, opening on Warwick Street with room for just 20 diners, built around a focus on British ingredients – day boat fish and seasonal produce.

The menu includes pressed scallops with seasonal house pickles and seared chalkstream trout sashimi, alongside handrolls such as Cornish white crab with wild garlic mayo and dry-aged beef tartare with wasabi mustard and herbs. Drinks lean into the same British-Japanese pairing, with London-brewed sake and beer alongside Japanese-inspired cocktails. There’s also a private dining option, with the bar turned speakeasy-style for groups of up to 10.

Bar Blondie – Queen’s Park

Northwest London is having its wine moment this July, as sommelier Alexandra Price (Top 100 Sommeliers UK 2025) and Silver Tree Restaurants founder Elliot Milne open Bar Blondie in a converted stable on Lonsdale Road Mews. The kitchen splits its allegiances down the middle – Head Chef Alastair Walling (ex-Noble Rot Mayfair, Maset) bring us southern French, and Executive Chef Alexander Busca (Milk Beach) brings us Italian dishes.

Expect bluefin tuna crostini with stracciatella, Maldon oysters with champagne mignonette, and grilled artichokes with pecorino di fossa to start, followed by handmade pasta – agnolotti del plin with slow-cooked lamb genovese is the one to have – and larger plates like monkfish tail with mussels and samphire, or a 500g ex-dairy Txuleta rib-eye.

Price’s 200-bin wine list splits into four characters, each nodding to a different reference point – Sergio Leone, Ray Eames and Joan Didion among them. The 45-cover space, designed by Macaulay Sinclair, channels a mid-century artist’s living room, with an art programme run alongside Ryan Stanier of The Art Office.

Soraya – Marylebone

The Pachamama Group opens Soraya at the Loxton Walk development on Baker Street this July — their largest London site to date, with room for close to 200 diners. The Persian restaurant originally launched in Abu Dhabi, and joins the group’s existing portfolio, which includes Zephyr, Lagana and Nina. Despite the scale, the space is split into interconnected areas, including an open kitchen, bar and two private dining rooms.

Breakfast includes Persian omelettes, eggs Benedict with saffron hollandaise and warm khachapuri pide. The main menu features flatbreads, smoked aubergine kashk bademjan and short rib khoresh with sour grape, alongside kebabs — lamb koobideh, chicken joujeh — and larger dishes like butterflied sea bass finished with herbs and lemon. Dessert runs on a rotating series of cheesecakes.

Stubby’s – Parsons Green

Oli Man and Greg Weaver, who opened These Days Bar & Kitchen in Bermondsey in 2023, are bringing an Australian-inspired café and deli to the former Freak Scene site in Parsons Green. Stubby’s draws on the pair’s time working in Australia, with a menu of sandwiches, salads and snacks alongside a deli stocked with bakery items, pickles and homemade sauces – plus homewares including candles, glassware, table linen and cookbooks.

Sandwiches are made daily, including shiso porchetta with kare sauce and smacked cucumber, and koji chicken thigh with chilli crisp and salsa verde. Coffee covers the usual flat whites and cold brews, alongside Australian drinks trends like cloud lattes, plus a full cocktail menu and wines from the Hunter Valley and Marlborough. On tap: Stone & Wood and Pilsner, with Victoria Bitter, Carlton Draught and Pacifico available by the bottle.

Cup of Joy – Marylebone

Istanbul coffee and bakery brand Cup of Joy opens its first overseas site opposite Jikoni in Marylebone, following eight locations in its home city since launching in Bebek. The signature blend uses Arabica beans from El Salvador, Brazil and Colombia, served alongside rotating guest coffees, all poured into ceramics handmade by founder Gökçe Kalyoncu, a self-taught ceramicist.

Food includes bagels such as the Aegean Morning, topped with matured feta, heirloom tomatoes, olives and house-made pistou, alongside a pistachio porridge with coconut milk and seasonal fruit. Lunch brings salads and toasties, and desserts include the Baba Au Tea — a poppy seed sponge soaked in orange rooibos syrup.

Mr Fogg’s Market Tavern – Covent Garden

Mr Fogg’s opens its largest venue yet on 20 July, taking over the former Crusting Pipe site within Covent Garden’s Market Building. It joins the group’s existing sites on St Martin’s Lane, Fitzrovia, near Liverpool Street and in Soho, with 130 covers inside and 60 on the terrace. The Victorian pub theme runs through vintage brickwork arches, flagstone floors and high seating, with low booths tucked into the arches.

A standout is The Guinness Saloon, with its own Guinness bar and a running counter tracking pints sold since opening – every 1,000th pint earns a spot on the wall of fame and a round on the house, while whoever orders the 10,000th wins a trip to the Guinness brewery in Ireland.

Cocktails include the Punch & Juicy, made with 42 Below vodka, passion fruit and Moët & Chandon Impérial Blanc, and the Burlington Martini, with Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru gin and fresh mint. Food, meanwhile, covers pub classics – beer battered haddock, a double patty smash burger – with a Sunday roast planned for autumn.

When: 20 July

Where: The Market Building, Covent Garden, London, WC2E 8RF

Coppa Club – London Bridge

Coppa Club opens its fourth London site on 23 July, a decade on from its first outpost at Tower Bridge, and following openings in Putney and Marylebone. The London Bridge site is intended as the group’s flagship, sitting between The Shard and Tower Bridge with a wraparound terrace over the Thames. Spanning two floors, the ground floor holds a marble-topped bar, lounge seating, workspaces and dining tables, while the mezzanine adds further seating and space for private events.

The menu is expected to mirror its sister site on the north bank, with green shakshuka and tahini porridge for breakfast, and sesame seared steak bowl or dukkah-crusted pressed pork for dinner. Drinks range from fresh juices to Assyrtiko and British orchard highballs.
