Harry Styles’s beauty-and-lifestyle brand Pleasing has set up shop on Carnaby Street, and “shop” is doing a lot of work in that sentence. PleasingLand London has taken over 14 Carnaby Street until 5 July, turning the store into a full sensory takeover for a limited time, with the brand’s signature candy-bright aesthetic blown up to fill an entire building.

Inside PleasingLand: What to expect

The pop-up unfolds across three rooms, each one built around a different sense, and none of them let you stand still and just browse.

First up you’ll walk into the fragrance room and you’ll find an experience that plays out like a video game crossed with a dating show, matching you to your “perfect scent” before revealing it like a prize.

Move through to the Pleasing x Loop Discovery Room and you’ll hit four sound installations designed so you don’t just hear the audio, you feel it move through your body. Whether that sounds like a dream or faintly alarming probably depends on how you feel about your nervous system being toyed with for fun.

Before you leave, there’s a photobooth waiting to send you off with a tangible souvenir, complete with a London-exclusive twist that reveals itself as the photo develops in your hand.

The shop floor

Once you’ve worked your way through the installations, there’s still proper shopping to do. Pleasing has brought its best-sellers along with exclusive product drops made specifically for this stop, including London-only accessories and the brand’s Play Jacket and Shorts, and a line of slogan tees. This is the biggest physical activation to date from the brand, all built around “curiosity, connection, and sensory delight.”

The Amex perks

If you carry an American Express card, you’ll get some special treatment. Cardmembers can enter an hour early every day, from 11am to 12pm, and can bring a guest along with them. They’ll also walk away with a complimentary gift when they make a purchase, skip into a dedicated checkout line, and have first access to two exclusives that aren’t available to anyone else. It’s worth noting that the perks run out once the stock does, and pre-paid Amex cards don’t count.

What is Pleasing?

Pleasing is a unisex lifestyle brand by Harry Styles, launched in November 2021. It started small, with a vegan and cruelty-free range of four nail polishes, a dual roller ball lip and eye serum, and a facial serum, before growing into a full-blown lifestyle brand with skincare and clothing. Pop-up stores and a permanent retail deal with Selfridges’ London flagship followed, with temporary pop-ups appearing everywhere from London and Margate to New York, Los Angeles, and Austin.

In July 2025, Pleasing moved into sexual wellness with a range called Pleasing Yourself, debuting a vibrator and lubricant developed with sex educator Zoe Ligon.
