London’s drinking culture is having a moment, and it’s refreshingly free of regret. With 76% of UK adults now cutting back on alcohol, according to KAM’s latest Low&No report, the city’s bar scene is catching up. Now, it’s all about good taste, good company, and still being able to look alive in your 9am meeting the next morning.

If you’re looking for your next spot to have a mocktail and enjoy London’s fleeting sun, the new CleanCo x Brityard Clean Cocktail Bar could be it.

The CleanCo x Brityard Clean Cocktail Bar

The CleanCo x Brityard Clean Cocktail Bar is London’s first dedicated alcohol-free cocktail bar, open on Regent Street for the summer and rewriting what “going for a drink” looks like.

It’s open from the 1st of July to 1st of September, so you still have a solid month to claim your table and work your way through the cocktail menu. Expect beautifully crafted alcohol-free drinks that are just as delicious as their alcoholic counterparts.

If you’re one of those people that needs to download the menu in PDF format and scan it meticulously before you even bother to open up Citymapper, consider this your preview:

  • Clean Paloma – Clean T 0.0% Tequila Alternative and Fever Tree Pink Grapefruit Soda
  • Clean G&T – Clean G 0.0% Gin Alternative and Clearer Twist Tonic Water
  • Clean & Stormy – Clean R 0.0% Rum Alternative and Clearer Twist Ginger Ale
  • Clean Rhubarb Spritz – Clean G Rhubarb 0.0% Gin Alternative and Clearer Twist French Twist

There are some special discounts too to sweeten the deal. From Monday through Wednesday, it’s 2-for-1 on the entire menu. On Thursdays from 4–6pm, the Clean Palomas are free (you heard that right, no catch).

This three-month summer residency marks the first time CleanCo has poured its full collection of 0.0% spirits into a bricks-and-mortar bar of its own. And yes, it’s as crisp, clean, and cleverly curated as you’d hope.

A project by CleanCo

The pop-up is the brainchild of CleanCo – the leading, award-winning, alcohol-free spirits brand. Founded in 2019 by Spencer Matthews, CleanCo has quickly become one of the leading names in alcohol-free spirits.

Spencer’s idea came from the frustration of not having enough options to choose from when he decided to give up drinking. It was either water, sugary soft drinks or dreaded juice-laden mocktails, as he states.

So CleanCo changed the game, offering a range of 0.0% alternatives to gin, rum, tequila, whisky, compromising on flavour. All of CleanCo’s spirits are made in the UK, and the range has already picked up a stack of Great Taste and IWSC awards for its ability to replicate the complexity and character of full-strength serves.

This alcohol-free cocktail pop-up bar was developed in collaboration with Brityard, Fitzrovia’s design-forward retail-meets-experiential concept space. And it couldn’t be more timely.

The new zebra-striping trend

According to the same KAM’s latest Low&No report shared earlier, 4.1 million fewer UK adults are drinking weekly in 2025 versus 2021. Moreover, one in three people in the UK are ‘zebra-striping.’

Yes, zebra-striping, meaning switching between alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks on the same night, is officially a thing. Even among the over-55s, more than 60% say they’re cutting back on alcoholic beverages. The sigma around going out for a non-alcohol drink is slowly but surely fading.

This new cocktail bar is a full-spectrum summer experience with supper clubs, events, and the chance to win a golden ticket for unlimited cocktails all summer long. The launch also coincides with CleanCo’s Clean T landing nationwide in Waitrose — the UK’s only 0.0% tequila in grocery retail.

Inside and outside, the atmosphere is playful but polished, as you may expect from a setting that’s parked right in the middle of Regent Street.

If you want to enjoy the fleeting sun with a drink in your hand, and still make next morning’s Pilates class, this bar could be worth a visit.

The CleanCo x Brityard Clean Cocktail Bar is open from 1 July – 30 September. Make sure to follow CleanCo on socials for the golden ticket giveaways and event drops.
